Flip #4 DONE!

Well, we just finished our fourth flip house and it looks pretty cute if I do say so myself! This house is a 3 bedroom/ 1 bath Bungalow in Atlantic Beach. As I've done with our other flip projects, I took some before and after shots that I've included below. This place was a complete DUMP when we bought it (as you can see below!) Now, it looks like a little doll house with the white picket fence and all! I hope it sells quickly!

Update of flip #3
We just received a verbal CASH offer for flip #3! We're meeting with the buyer tonight to draw up the contract! This comes after we received two other contracted offers that both fell through because of financing! So when we hear "cash deal" we jump on it! It's a tough market!

Baby Mama- 1.75 thumbs up!

This movie was so unbelievable funny! John and I laughed so hard at so many parts, HOWEVER, my one criticism of the movie is that the end seemed a bit rushed. It was like they ran out of money and had to wrap it up quickly. That aside, we really enjoyed it! Very funny! Good Friday night fun! Go see it!

Happy Birthday Emily and Michelle!

Two of the COOLEST girls I know will be celebrating their birthdays next week.
Emily is one of my best friends that I've known since I was 12! We grew up together in Young Women's, were roommates in college, and now, we're still the best of friends even though we live on opposite sides of the country!
Michelle is also one of my best friends and we met our freshman year of college where we we shared an apartment. Michelle is truly one of the funniest, sweetest and most sincere people I know! She has alway's been such a wonderful example to me. She's my pacific northwestern baby!
I was able to see these two fabulous girls about a month ago when we all went out to our friend Sarah's wedding in Seattle (see a few posts below). It was so nice to see them again and catch up! It felt like old times! I have truly enjoyed watching both of these awesome girls start their families! They both have the most adorable little girls, Makenna and Bailey. They are great moms and wonderful examples to me! You both are the best! I hope you have wonderful birthdays next week. May all your birthday wishes, hopes, and dreams come true!

Happy Birthday Pete... and Molly!

This week, we celebrated my step dad Peter's and my dog Molly's birthdays! They were born one day apart. Molly just turned 12! I can't believe she's 12! I won't tell you how old Pete is because I'm SURE he wouldn't appreciate it! But we had a great time. We went out to dinner at Ruth Chris's to celebrate Pete's birthday. I LOVE that place! It has the best steak I've ever had! And we made sure we brought a little treat home for Molly since it was her birthday too! Here are a few pictures we took...

Boston

John and I spent this past weekend in Boston visiting my step sister Samantha and her family. We had so much fun! This was our first time meeting new baby Max (ADORABLE!!!) and our first time having conversations with two and a half year old Quinn who is talking up a storm now! Quinn is still very much enamored with my cell phone and my camera and spent most of the weekend playing with all the electronics in my handbag! He's going to be a computer and electrical engineer when he grows up, I just know it! We had a great time catching up with the little guy!
Samantha and her husband, Mann, just bought a house in the suburbs of Boston, a 1905 Craftsman style home. It was beautiful! When I stepped in the house, I felt like I was stepping into a Thomas Kinkade painting! It was so cozy! I included some pictures below. Before they bought this house, they lived in a brownstone in the city (which was beautiful too) but this house was incredible, and I'm sure living in the suburbs will be a much welcomed change of pace for them. Here are a few pictures we took this weekend...

Sleepless in Seattle

This weekend, I had the opportunity to go to Seattle for my college roommate Sarah's wedding. It was SO MUCH FUN! All of us girls that lived together in college met up there for the wedding/ roommie reunion and we had such a blast! It's so great to see each other after so many years and realize, though we are scattered all over the country and we are leading our own different lives, when we get together everything is JUST THE SAME as it was when we lived together! I honestly haven't laughed as hard as I did this weekend in A LONG TIME! I haven't been this sleep deprived since college either! I love those late night talks! Em, Mich, Lis, and Sar, we need to do this again soon! I had so much fun! I miss you guys already! Sar, have fun in Hawaii!
